Borussia Dortmund are ready to offer Manchester United £35m to make Jadon Sancho deal permanent this summer

Jadon Sancho slammed by German media for disappointing performance in Dortmund defeat

Borussia Dortmund are ready to offer Manchester United £35 million to sign attacking midfielder Jadon Sancho in a permanent deal this summer, according to the Sun.

The Englishman is currently on loan at the Bundesliga club after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag in September following a social media outburst.

Man United chiefs have given up on any reconciliation between the Dutchman and Sancho, and while they spent £73m to recruit the services of the 23-year-old in 2021, they are ready to take a hit of close to £40m on him.

The Red Devils star currently earns £250,000 per week at the Old Trafford club, and they could do with taking him off their wage bill given their financial situation.

Sancho does not want to play for Man United again unless Ten Hag is sacked, and the Red Devils do not want him.

The Dutchman has not been given any guarantees that he will remain at the Theatre of Dreams beyond this summer, which makes the potential return of the wantaway star a possibility.

He has featured in ten games across all competitions since sealing a temporary move to Dortmund, bagging two goals and an assist.

Sancho has created nine chances and recorded two shots on target in the Bundesliga, while he also put in a man-of-the-match performance in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday to help the Germans advance to the quarter-finals.

The Man United forward is playing for his future and European clubs will be keeping tabs on him as they know there is a chance of landing him for a decent fee in the summer.

Sancho will be desperate to keep impressing and eventually prove Ten Hag wrong, and it will be intriguing to see what the future holds for him.
