Boot Review – Nike T90 Laser IV FG

Nike’s latest edition to their flagship accuracy boot – the T90 LASER IV FG – hits the shelves after becoming the boot of choice for global superstars such as Wayne Rooney, Fernando Torres and now……Danny Welbeck.

With an RRP of £139.99 these football boots don’t come cheap because they’re a serious boot for a serious player. Right now SportsDirect are selling the boots for £100 – 30% less than the RRP!

This 4th edition features a specially designed upper, developed for its durability and a side lacing system combined with alternative eyelet holes to create a cleaner, more accurate kicking system.

The T90 Laser IV FG has fins across the front of the boot that are designed and positioned at different angles and varying heights. Otherwise known as the ‘Adaptive Shield’, you the player will benefit from added swerve and ball control whether you’re finding a team mate or shooting on goal.

Nike’s designers also incorporated a memory foam surface beneath the 1st metatarsal area to protect your instep bone structure and to increase accuracy. This area works in unison with five longitudinal and flexible instep pods designed to follow the contours of your foot to reduce pressure and improve your game.

Nike have also paid particular attention to placing the studs in carefully researched locations to provide maximum structural reinforcement and traction on the pitch.
