Manchester United have received a double fitness boost ahead of their Premier League clash with Brentford tomorrow.
According to reports, Patrick Dorgu and Leny Yoro returned to group training today.
They could now be part of the United squad tomorrow but a final decision rests with head coach Michael Carrick.
Leny Yoro missed the previous encounter with Chelsea due to a late injury. Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez were also suspended.
That forced Carrick to deploy Noussair Mazraoui and Ayden Heaven in the heart of defence.
The United head coach was positive about Yoro’s recovery on Thursday, though he stopped short of confirming his involvement.
We believe the 20-year-old may not be risked from the start, but he could still play an important role in the second half.
The potential return of Dorgu is another massive boost for the Red Devils.
The Denmark international has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in the dramatic 3-2 victory over Arsenal in January.
He featured twice under Carrick and found the net against both Manchester City and Arsenal.
The former United midfielder deployed him on the left wing to stretch opposition defences and create more room for Bruno Fernandes and the central striker.
Carrick may still take a cautious approach with Dorgu’s comeback and could limit him to a late cameo off the bench.
The Red Devils are in a strong position to qualify for the UEFA Champions League after resurgence under Carrick.
Another win tomorrow could almost guarantee their return to the elite European competition.
