Manchester United’s superstar midfielder Paul Pogba is a subject of interest from La Liga giants F.C. Barcelona, as per the report from Mundo Deportivo (via Sports Mole).
Pogba expressed his desire to play for Real Madrid earlier this month. He described it as ‘a dream‘ to play for Los Blancos in the near future.
Pogba has had always been on the radar of the Madrid-based and was close to moving to the capital of Spain on three occasions over the last few years.
And hence, as reported earlier in this week, Real Madrid have lost their patience with the Pogba chase. They are now keen to add players beyond Paul Pogba.
The likes of Eduardo Camavinga and Kylian Mbappé are the ones Real Madrid would be looking to ponder upon next summer.
On the other hand, Pogba’s contract with United is set to run out next summer, meaning United might end up losing its most-expensive player for free. However, there is an option to extend the contract by one year.
Under the tutelage of Ronald Koeman, Barca will try to shift things around. Getting Pogba’s services will not come cheap – but will make a statement.
