Manchester United take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge at 16:30 GMT this afternoon.
The lineups have been announced and one notable absence from the hosts is centre-back David Luiz. The Brazilian had previously started eight of Chelsea’s 10 Premier League games this season.
Antonio Conte has gone with Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen and Gary Cahill as his back three today. Azpilicueta has played every minute for the Blues this season, whilst Cahill has only made five starts in the league, and Christensen is only making his fourth start of the season.
Speaking to Sky Sports in his pre-match press conference, Antonio Conte explained David Luiz’s absence.
“It was a tactical decision.”
Our front three of Marcus Rashford, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Romelu Lukaku will be looking to get the better of Chelsea’s defence that shipped three goals at AS Roma in the Champions League midweek.
Manchester City’s 3-1 win over Arsenal today means we head into this afternoon’s game at the champions with an eight-point deficit to the Premier League leaders.
