Manchester United could be forced to offload Paul Pogba as Juventus boss’ Andrea Pirlo wants him at Turin next summer.
Paul Pogba joined Manchester United for a reported transfer fee of €105 million (£89.3 million) in 2016.
Prior to his arrival at Old Trafford, Pogba played with Pirlo in the middle of the park. Pirlo helped Pogba to adjust and develop his game bit by bit. The Italian was Frenchman’s mentor. And as per the current reports, the duo wants to reunite in the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to a report from Tuttojuve, Pirlo wants to make a move for Manchester United midfielder in the upcoming summer. Pogba-Juventus links are long-standing.
United extended Pogba’s contract until 2022 earlier this month.
Although United’s entourage wants Pogba to stay put at the red side of Manchester or at least would want to get a return on their €105m investment.
Pogba, on the other hand, revealed his desire to play for Real Madrid. However, Los Blancos are not keen to make any move for the compatriot of Zinedine Zidane sooner than later. Earlier this year, French media suggested Pogba told his teammates that he wants to leave United.
