Manchester United are looking to do a potential swap deal that would see Alexis Sanchez leave the club this summer.
The Chilean has been on a season-long loan in Serie A with Internazionale after his time at Old Trafford had been a huge disappointment.
Sanchez originally joined the Red Devils from Arsenal in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan in January 2018 but has only scored three goals in 32 Premier League appearances for us.
The forward’s time in Italy was originally struck by injuries but Antonio Conte has been using Sanchez since returning to full fitness following the restart.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, as cited by the Express, Manchester United are prepared to do a swap deal with Inter which would see Ivan Perisic head our way.
The Croatian forward has spent the past season on loan at Bayern Munich, but the Bundesliga champions have decided not to make the deal permanent.
Fichajes even claim that we are close to completing the swap deal.
If Conte has no plans for Perisic to return to the San Siro then this could work out a great deal for both teams if it goes ahead.
31-year-old Perisic is predominantly a left forward who has 88 caps for the Croatian national team, scoring 26 goals. He has previously played for Borussia Dortmund and VfL Wolfsburg.
