Al Nassr make enquiry for Andre Onana as Inter await official offer from Man Utd

Saudi Arabian giants Al Nassr have made a surprise enquiry for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, according to Calciomercato.it.

Manchester United currently have Onana as their priority goalkeeper target, but they are yet to make an official offer on the table.

Erik ten Hag has reassured the 27-year-old that United will do ‘everything to sign him‘, but the club could surprise competition for him.

Calciomercato claim that Al Nassr have requested for information on Onana with a ‘letter of interest’.

Onana and his entourage have been informed over the same, but the goalkeeper is currently not interested in the move.

The shot-stopper is happy to stay at Inter, and he wants to find out whether United will come up with a formal transfer bid.

United recently held talks with Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio in Ibiza over Onana, but no official offer has been made.

Al Nassr’s interest is a warning sign for Man Utd

United have already expressed their interest in signing Onana, but they can’t be complacent in the pursuit of the former Ajax man.

The Red Devils don’t face competition from their European rivals, but this does not mean that they can slow down negotiations.

Al Nassr’s interest in Onana is a warning sign for the Red Devils.

Inter currently value the 27-year-old at €60 million, but they are willing to accept €50m up front with the remaining in add-ons.

The Nerazzurri have no plans of lowering their asking price, and the onus is now on United to negotiate on the payment terms.

Al Nassr are currently monitoring Onana’s situation, and could make a genuine offer if United delay talks with the Nerazzurri.

In our view, Onana could eventually end up at Old Trafford. The Al Nassr link should speed up talks to secure his services.
