A selection of Manchester United supporters have praised the performance of defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka during the club’s 3-1 Premier League win over Norwich City on the road on Sunday.
The England youth international missed a couple of games before the previous international break with a bout of tonsillitis and his absence was undoubtedly felt on the right side of the backline.
In the past two games, Wan-Bissaka has played through the entire 90 minutes and against Norwich, he produced a strong defensive performance en route to the club’s maiden away league win of the season.
Wan-Bissaka ended the game with 11 successful tackles while the rest of his United teammates managed only 12. He also came up with three interceptions, which was more than any other Red Devil player on the day.
Here are some of the reactions on Twitter regarding his performance…
Thoughts on the United game :
– James is a huge bargain
– We are poor at penalties and need to work on it
– Mctominay is our most consistent player
– Wan Bissaka is the wall of Manchester
– Martial is our best finisher by far— Ugbedeojo (@Certifiedopeboi) October 27, 2019
Wan Bissaka is superb. Missed him in this side.

Despite the positives, Wan-Bissaka only managed a 72 percent success rate in terms of the passing and he failed to successfully deliver any of his attempted crosses in the box.
That remains an area where he needs to improve in the future, but he is nonetheless proving a quality and consistent performer in the top-flight despite only making his first-team debut last year.
United are scheduled to face Chelsea in the fourth round of the League Cup on Wednesday night and Wan-Bissaka may be called upon to curb the threat from the likes of Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The Red Devils registered a comfortable 4-0 league triumph over the Blues in the curtain-raiser but the challenge should be tougher this time around with the west London giants in a purple patch of form.
The Blues have won seven games on the bounce across all competitions and they should provide a different test for Solskjaer’s side with the home advantage for the Cup tie.
