A section of the Manchester United fans have praised the performance of Daniel James during the 1-1 Premier League draw against Southampton on the road on Saturday.
The Wales international had already scored a couple of goals from the opening three league games and he continued the good impression with a stunning strike to open the scoresheet in the 10th minute.
The goal was not sufficient to hand United with the victory after the Saints equalised through Jan Vestergaard before the hour mark but the fans have been appreciative of the Welshman’s efforts.
Twitter Reactions:
My patience is growing thin with Rashford at the minute, his starting place will be jeopardy if he keeps playing like that every week. On a positive note, absolutely everything in attack was coming from Daniel James today, he was a joy to watch, our best player after four games.

Daniel James is the perfect winger if you're actually a good Striker. The amount of crosses he made that flashed across goal whilst no one bothered to attack the ball was a joke

James joined the Red Devils from Swansea City last summer as a relatively unknown to most of the United faithful but he has certainly built his reputation with his contributions during the current season.
It is no surprise that the 21-year-old was comfortable playing in the left-wing position which has generally favoured but there has also been an improvement in terms of the crossing.
Against the Saints, the young attacker managed to provide a number of quality crosses in the box but unfortunately, no one from the United side including Marcus Rashford could make the difference.
Despite the positives, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team have made an average start to the new season and they are currently on a run of three successive matches without a single victory.
The 4-0 win over Chelsea in the curtain-raiser gave plenty of promise but things have since not paved the way as planned with just two points accumulated against Wolves, Crystal Palace and Southampton.
