Manchester United travel to Wembley Stadium to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer heads to the capital with his perfect record in tact as caretaker boss but this weekend’s game will be his biggest test to date.
Tottenham Hotspur start the weekend in third place and are 10 points ahead of us. Three points away from home would be key for us keeping in touch with the top four.
Here is the Spurs team I think we’ll see lining up against us:
Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris
Rested for their recent FA Cup tie at Tranmere Rovers, Hugo Lloris will no doubt be between the sticks again on Sunday. The France number one has been prone to making some blunders over the past couple of seasons but it otherwise a top goalkeeper. He can expect to be tested by Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and co.
Defence: Kieran Trippier, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld, Ben Davies
Former Manchester United target Toby Alderweireld will be starting in the middle of Tottenham’s defence and continue to be partnered by Davinson Sanchez in Jan Vertonghen’s absence. Kieran Trippier will start at right-back because Serge Aurier isn’t a very good defender. The right-back has a good delivery so Luke Shaw could do with keeping tight to his fellow England international. Ben Davies should continue ahead of Danny Rose down the left, and likewise, enjoys bombing forward and putting balls into the box.
Midfield: Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks, Christian Eriksen; Dele Alli
Bad news for Manchester United is that the overrated Eric Dier is injured. That means the powerful Moussa Sissoko will start in a central three. Despite criticism from many fans and pundits, the Frenchman is actually having a productive year for Tottenham. Youngster Harry Winks has started a few games recently and I expect this to continue against us. We’ll need to keep a close eye on playmaker Christian Eriksen as he can unlock any defence when given time. He’s also a goalscorer and a great set piece taker. Playing in the number 10 role should be Dele Alli. I’m not always convinced by him when I see him play but he does have a great goal ratio I will give him that.
Strikers: Son Heung-min, Harry Kane
Two of the in-form Premier League players are going to make it a busy afternoon for David de Gea. Harry Kane has scored in each of his past four Premier League games and even came off the bench for the final 15 minutes to bag a goal in the FA Cup last Friday. Son Heung-min has scored seven goals in his last six Premier League starts. The South Korean is quick and has a good finish off him. His off the ball runs have the potential to hurt our back four.
