4-2-3-1: Man Utd predicted XI to face Bournemouth

Manchester United will be looking to move into the top four tomorrow when we host Bournemouth at Old Trafford.

We head into the weekend two points behind Chelsea, who are not in action until 20:00 on Saturday night, coming off the back of a defeat at West Ham United on Wednesday.

Bournemouth have lost all three games since the Premier League restart and taken just one point from their last seven overall.

Here is the team I think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will name:

Goalkeeper: David de Gea
The Spaniard has been well-protected in all three of our games, keeping back-to-back clean sheets. Bournemouth have been shot-shy this season and scored just once in their last three so David de Gea should head into this match confident of recording another clean sheet.

Defence: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw
This back four has been excellent in our three Premier League games since the restart. Can’t see why Ole would make any changes, unless he feels any of them need a rest before Thursday’s trip to Aston Villa. Eric Bailly and Brandon Williams would be the most likely defenders to break up this defence.

Midfield: Fred, Paul Pogba; Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford
Paul Pogba has been rejuvenated since the restart. It’s just a question of who will play alongside him on Saturday. I think Nemanja Matic will be rested after an outstanding showing at Brighton & Hove Albion, with Fred coming back into the starting XI. Bruno Fernandes only played an hour on Monday night so will be fresh to continue his dominance in the number 10 role. Mason Greenwood has been excellent on the right, whilst I cannot see Marcus Rashford being dropped down the left as he looks to get back into form.

Striker: Anthony Martial
A quiet game on Monday but no reason why Anthony Martial won’t start this one. There’s every chance the Frenchman could net a couple in this one against such a porous defence.

Here is how I imagine we’ll line up:
