2 new deals on the table for Man Utd players

Left-back Brandon Williams and goalkeeper Dean Henderson are in line for new Manchester United contracts, according to ESPN.

Both players are already tied down to long-term deals at Old Trafford, but the club are preparing new terms to reflect their development over the past year or so.

19-year-old Williams has made 26 appearances in all competitions this season, mainly at left-back, occasionally as part of a back three and also on the left side of midfield, usually towards the end of games.

It is understood the new deal would give the teenager a wage similar to fellow youngsters Mason Greenwood and Tahith Chong.

Dean Henderson has spent the past two seasons on loan at Sheffield United, initially helping them gain promotion to the Premier League last season and further impressive performances this campaign, earning him call-ups to Gareth Southgate’s England national team.

The Blades have the second-best defensive record this season ahead of the restart.

Both players have shown potential to become Manchester United regulars in the future, particularly under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has given a number of youngsters a chance since taking charge of the 20 times champions of England.
