1 absentee for Leicester vs Man Utd

Manchester United travel to the King Power Stadium on Sunday to take on Leicester City in the Premier League.

We are coming off the back of our first draw under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the Norwegian had won his first eight games in charge in all competitions as caretaker manager prior to Tuesday night’s 2-2 draw with Burnley.

The hosts for this weekend’s clash are currently down in 11th place but can take confidence from their 1-1 draw at Liverpool midweek.

Leicester City manager Claude Puel has very little to worry about on the injury front as only midfielder Daniel Amartey has been ruled out of facing us.

The Ghanaian has not featured since the Foxes’ 1-1 draw at home to West Ham United at the end of October due to a leg injury and is expected to be on the sidelines for at least a further month.

During Amartey’s absence, youngster Hamza Choudhury has been given an opportunity to excel in midfield and the 21-year-old has done a good job of that with his tough-tackling style in the middle of the park. Choudhury is often partnered by Wilfried Ndidi, a top central midfielder in the Premier League.

Sunday could also see Youri Tielemans make his debut for Leicester following his deadline day arrival from AS Monaco.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed earlier today that Marcos Rojo is our only absentee for this weekend’s trip to the East Midlands.
